Board of Directors
Robert Massey, the youngest son of Cotecna founder Elie-Georges Massey, holds an engineering degree from the renowned Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne. Robert was CEO of Cotecna from 1992 until 2017, and is now Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Frank Piedelièvre joined the Cotecna Board of Directors in September 2015. He graduated from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales, Paris and has held a number of senior positions in the building and industrial sectors since the 1980s. Most notably, Frank served as Chief Executive Officer at Bureau Veritas for a number of years.
Sébastien Dannaud joined Cotecna in 2016 to drive the rapid expansion of its Commercial Division and was appointed CEO in April 2017. Over the past 10 years, he has held various management positions in the TIC industry, ranging from corporate and global business development to regional P&L responsibilities. He holds an MSc in Business and Finance from HEC Paris.
Jean-Frédéric Thomas joined Cotecna in November 2006 as Group Financial Controller based in Geneva. He was appointed as CFO in 2014. Before joining Cotecna, Jean-Frédéric spent close to eight years in senior audit and advisory roles with two of the largest auditing firms. He is a graduate of EDHEC Group and has a Masters in Finance.
Chief Operating Officer, Head of Government & Trade Solutions
Fabrice Etienvre joined Cotecna in 2017 to lead the company’s International Government & Trade Solutions. Fabrice is a seasoned global executive, bringing 20 years of successful experience in leadership positions across multiple geographies in International Business Development, Corporate Development, Institutional Relations & Lobbying, Project Finance, Ethics & Compliance, with a strong track record in Change Management and Operational Excellence, repositioning businesses in Key Markets & Geographies. He holds a Masters Degree in Public Affairs & Government (ENA, Paris) and a Bachelors Degree in Political Sciences, Economics, International & EU Affairs.
Senior Vice President – Commodities
Matthieu Delorme joined Cotecna in 2001 after 20 years professional experience in the sector of agricultural commodities trading. Since joining, he has built Cotecna’s commercial inspection, testing and certification business and is currently in charge of technical governance, sales coordination and execution excellence across the Agriculture and Minerals network. His previous roles included managerial positions in Latin America, Asia and Europe.
Chief Development Officer
Guido Dori joined Cotecna in 2017 as Chief Development Officer, in charge of the company’s business expansion. He has 20 years’ experience in the TIC industry where he has held various roles ranging from corporate finance and internal audit, to operations and business development. He holds an MBA from Thunderbird, Arizona State University, School of Global Management.
