Côte d'Ivoire: New measures to maintain exports
As a result of this situation, and in order to maintain supplies into Côte d'Ivoire, the following measures have been taken:
- Shipments following Routes B or C: No change in current procedure;
- Shipments subject to Route A: Physical inspection is replaced by remote (digital) inspection. If remote inspection is not possible, special focus will be placed on documentary control and the Ministry in charge of Trade may carry out a posteriori control in Côte d'Ivoire.
Cotecna supports this decision by making available all its technological facilities to respond positively to this crisis and continue to protect the health and safety of Ivorian citizens.
We would also like to take this opportunity to confirm that our teams around the world remain operational, in order to continue delivering you a quality service, despite these unprecedented events.
