Cotecna Peru’s laboratory now ISO 17025 accredited
We are proud to announce that Cotecna Peru S.A. has been accredited under the ISO 17025 standard to perform sampling and testing of non-ferrous concentrates of metallic minerals.
The accreditation under ISO 17025 is for the technical standard NTP-ISO 10251: 2016 // NTP-ISO 12743: 2017 // NTP 122.015: 1974 (Revised 2017) // NTP 122.013: 1974 (revised 2017), and was conducted by INACAL, the National Institute of Quality in Peru.
This new accreditation enables us to perform sampling and testing (including moisture determination) of non-ferrous concentrates of metallic minerals in the country, in accordance with the official custom regulations linked to the export of non-ferrous concentrates. The accreditation is valid for three years, starting 7th July 2019.
Cotecna has long been operating in Peru, having first established a presence there in 1995. Its laboratory was opened at the start of 2018.
This achievement represents a significant milestone for the development of our activities in the country and will enable us not only to provide best-in-class services to our clients, but also to maintain a competitive advantage in the region.
