Cotecna El Salvador supports the Government in Pandemic
Cotecna is supplying one of it’s spare mobile scanners currently operating at San Bartolo Central Customs Office, to support the Government’s efforts to fight the COVID-19 pandemic in El Salvador.
As part of Cotecna's commitment to support international trade in El Salvador, and as a special support to the country during the COVID-19 pandemic emergency; on March 20th, Cotecna installed a spare mobile scanner at the San Bartolo Central Customs Office. The Government of El Salvador, through the Central Customs Office, made a special request to Cotecna to operate this mobile scanner in this temporary site. Customs Director, Gustavo Villatoro, recently shared a tweet in his official twitter account about Cotecna’s mobile scanner operating at San Bartolo as a measure to fight and reduce the risks of COVID-19 infections by avoiding physical inspections of merchandise from the borders.
