SON new Director-General Dr. Ifeanyi Chukwunonso Okeke recently appointed in Nigeria.
On the 23rd October, 2023, the President of Nigeria Bola Ahmed Tinubu announced the appointment of Dr. Ifeanyi Chukwunonso Okeke as the new Director General of the Standards Organization of Nigeria (SON).
Dr. Okeke succeeds Mallam Farouk Salim, who headed the organization since his appointment in 2019 by former President Muhammadu Buhari.
As a distinguished Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Dr. Okeke's academic journey sparkles with numerous laurels. Holding degrees from esteemed institutions such as Nnamdi Azikiwe University and the University of Nigeria Nsukka, his educational background reflects a commitment to excellence.
On 13th November, our Nigeria Contract Manager Ade ADEDIRAN had the pleasure of meeting the new Director General, expressing enthusiasm about the opportunities between our company and SON under Dr. Okeke's leadership.
